


XGIMI has opened pre-orders for its Titan Noir series 4K projectors. Led by the flagship Titan Noir Max, this model is geared towards the high-end home theater enthusiast and is touted as being engineered for absolute black to improve performance in dedicated cinema rooms and premium media spaces. It offers 24-fps playback with reduced interpolation and motion artifacts. The projector is built with the new SST DMD chip from Texas Instruments, which has been designed for higher power tolerance and improved thermal flow, allowing consistent brightness and image stability during extended viewing periods.
XGIMI Titan series projectors achieve high color accuracy under all four major color gamut standards, delivering color precision and consistent color rendering. In addition, HDR tone mapping balances highlights and shadows to retain detail across extreme contrast ranges. The flagship model offers support for IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
The Noir Max delivers up to 7,000 ISO lumens and a native 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The series has RGB triple-laser illumination and a precision Dual Iris light-control system. The X-Master Red Ring Lens system is engineered with a 15-element, ultra-high-resolution A-grade optical system to deliver sharpness, true edge-to-edge clarity, and enduring optical precision.
The Titan Noir Max can save up to 5 custom lens positions and switch instantly between 16:9 entertainment and 2.35:1 ultra-wide CinemaScope film. It also has a130-degree vertical lens shift and a 50-degree horizontal lens shift along with 2x optical zoom and an ultra-short throw ratio of 0.98-2.0:1.
A wide range of connectivity options are onboard, including Optical, multiple USB and HDMI connections and Audio and LAN. The projector is built on the MediaTek MT9681 platform with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage, alongside refresh rates of up to 240Hz for gaming-led applications.
For gamers, the Titan Noir Max offers a 1ms input lag and 240Hz refresh rate at 1080P.
