PMA Research was formerly Pacific Media Associates and was the first analyst firm to cover the display market exclusively. The PMA team are respected worldwide for their high standards of research methodology, quality of reporting, and ethics. When the company founder retired in 2012, the company name was changed to PMA Research under new ownership. In 2026, PMA Research became an Apogee Insight company. While ensuring the continuity of PMA’s trusted research services, Apogee Insight will bring expanded resources, analytic capabilities, and coverage to new and rapidly growing areas of the Pro AV industry.
