At InfoComm earlier this month, LG Business Solutions USA unveiled the LG ProBeam BU53PST, a new 4K UHD utlra-short throw laser projector. With 5000 ANSI lumens brightness and an over 25 percent shorter throw ratio than LG’s previous ProBeam projectors, the LG ProBeam BU53PST is a versatile projector that can be installed in a variety of environments – from commercial digital signage spaces, to classrooms and meeting rooms, to golf simulators. ProBeam BU53PST offers full 4K UHD resolution of 3,840 x 2160 pixels, a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and HDR10 processing compatibility, make it ideal for 4K content in both commercial and entertainment spaces. The advanced 12-point warp and blend edge adjustment provides broad latitude to correct the projected image for a wide variety of screen surfaces or installations.

Dual 5-watt speakers provide powerful built-in audio which allows the projector to serve as an all-in-one solution. With 20,000 hours of estimated life, the ProBeam BU53PST’s laser light source is able to operate eight hours a day for seven years with virtually no maintenance. It also features a 1.2x zoom capability, as well as horizontal and vertical lens shift features. The ProBeam BU53PST utilizes HDBaseT so it uses a single cable to receive ultra-high-definition video & audio, Ethernet, controls and USB signals.
