Panasonic has introduced interactive multi-touch versions to its range of professional 4K displays in the SQE1 and CQE1 Series. Premium InGlass and Infrared multi-touch displays will be available across the SQE1-IG and SQE1-IR Series and Infrared multi-touch will be available in the CQE1-IR Series, designed for cost-efficient use in education.

The SQE1-IG series using InGlass™ technology provides an ultra-precise paper-like writing experience for effortless collaboration and the SQE1-IR series provides interactivity with infrared technology. Both series offer 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and 500 cd/m² for clear images, perfectly suitable for working close to the screen. Up to 20 simultaneous touchpoints, as well as the distinction between finger, pen, and hand eraser, allow more than two people to work on the display at the same time, which increases interaction. The SQE1-IG series is equipped with the new Intel® SDM specification slot to meet diverse needs and applications. It allows 24/7 continuous operation, making it ideal for daily use in meeting rooms, educational spaces, signage areas or other applications. Additionally, it is highly suitable for rooms exposed to bright sunlight.

Automatic media playback can be started by simply inserting a USB memory stick onto which content has been saved. Since it is 4K compatible, it easily provides 4K digital signage without having to use a PC or set-top box. The SQE1-IG Series also offers one-to-one wireless communication from a PC via Wi-Fi. Users can easily stream videos to a big screen and view photos and presentations. The SQE1-IG series is preinstalled with the Android-based HTML5 browser. So, it can serve as signage using a without an external device, such as a set-top box or PC, or without a connection cable.

The direct-lit 55-inch (TH-55SQE1-IG), 65-inch (TH-65SQE1-IG), 75-inch (TH-75SQE1-IG) and edge-lit 86-inch (TH-86SQE1-IG) models will be available July 2021.
