Barco recently introduced their new NT series LED tiles for video walls. Available in 1.2mm, 1.5mm and 1.8mm pixel pitches, this new range of LED video walls completes Barco’s next-generation LED portfolio, next to their flagship TruePix. Like TruePix, the new NT series uses Infinipix® Gen2, Barco’s proprietary image processing solution. This powerful solution makes sure the on-screen content looks its best. With no visual distortion, low latency, perfect syncing and no tearing, the NT series offers a high-quality viewing experience for all types of content. Color accuracy is maintained at every level of brightness and the embedded proprietary Smart Calibration^TM ensures a wide color gamut support for rich and true-to-life images. Furthermore, data and power redundancy options ensure maximized uptime and uninterrupted performance.

The thin tile design of the NT series offers an elegant look and requires less space. This broadens the possibilities for different locations and complies with ADA requirements for accessible design. NT series video walls are suitable for auditoriums, lobbies, boardrooms, control rooms, museums and television studios. Being front and rear accessible, the tiles can be easily removed, for maintenance in line with the application operations. To facilitate the deployment and maintenance, the NT series features Barco’s installation mechanics. The Video Wall Manager software makes sure the tiles are automatically configured, which makes the installation process a lot easier.

Barco’s cloud-based Video wall Management Suite allows staff and managed service providers to continuously monitor all vital parameters of NT LED video walls from a remote location. The easy user interface helps ensure possible problems are solved quickly and allows downtime to be prevented. This same solution is compatible with all of Barco’s new generation of video walls (LED, LCD and rear-projection), including TruePix, Barco UniSee, and RGB Laser ODL.

The NT series was premiered at this year’s ISE in Barcelona, alongside an installation featuring Barco’s flagship TruePix LED solution.
