Barco has announced the launch of a new modular LCD video wall platform. The Barco UniSee® system consists of three building blocks: UniSee View, UniSee Mount and UniSee Connect. UniSee View are 55” Full HD resolution, 800 nit, bezel-less LCD panels that provide an uninterrupted “NoGap” viewing experience. Barco’s patented NoGap technology reduces the inter-tile gap, so that visual content spread over multiple tiles is not interrupted by noticeable bezel lines. UniSee Mount uses gravity to self-align the 55” LCD tiles, which slide into place gently in any direction along the X, Y and Z axes while protecting the panel’s edges and keeping them aligned over time. UniSee Connect is an open software platform that manages the entire video wall, automatically assigning and calibrating the panels. It includes the SenseX calibration system with real-time sensors to ensure the entire wall displays a balanced image. It also acts as a single point of connection for remote diagnostics and control. The modular platform reduces the time requirements for both set-up and maintenance. Most repairs can be done on-site and also allows for the other tiles of the video wall to remain operational during service.
