At next week’s InfoComm tradeshow, Fujifilm North America, will debut its recently announced FP-ZUH12000 projector for the first time in North America. With Edge-Blending and Geometric Correction features, Fujifilm’s ZUH12000 is designed for commercial, event, and installation environments such as House of Worship, Higher Education, Corporate and Museums.
ZUH12000 is the first model in Fujifilm’s Z-Series of projectors to feature an interchangeable-lens body, offering flexibility and versatility for a wide range of applications. With 12,000-lumens of brightness, a laser light engine, and equipped with the latest Texas Instruments DMD HEP chip, the FP-ZUH12000 delivers 4K UHD images with a 16:10 aspect ratio, WQUXGA resolution and quiet operation at just 39 decibels. It is built with an upgraded color engine to accurately replicate deep blacks and provide smoother color gradations.
It features a unique rotating lens mechanism that allows it to project onto floors, ceilings, or walls without moving the main body, and it is the first in the Z-series to support interchangeable lenses. Flexible spatial production is enabled by this folded-type rotatable lens mechanism. Also onboard are horizontal and vertical lens shift capabilities. It launches with three lens options, an Ultra Short Throw, Short Throw and Standard Throw, with each lens allowing ZUH12000 to be used in a wide range of environments and use cases. The ZUH12000 offers an expansive image adjustment window of ±60% vertical and ±30% horizontal shift.
The new model weighs a little under forty pounds and has a relatively compact footprint (7.44″ x 21.06″ x 15.59″) for a projector in this brightness class. It also offers a wide range of connectivity, including an Audio-In Mini Jack, HDBaseT, RJ-45, RS232, BNC, USB and multiple HDMI connections.
Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
