Sharp NEC Displays is offering the PA1004UL high-brightness LCD laser projector for education and corporate users. The newest projector in the PA series lineup provides clear imagery with WUXGA resolution while the unit itself blends into the background because it is so quiet. The nearly imperceptible 35 dB operating noise enables the audience to hear the presentation without being distracted by noisy fans, even if it is mounted directly overhead.
With 10,000 lumens of brightness, the PA1004UL professional installation projector is the brightest projector in the PA series and is suitable for well-lit rooms with high ambient light. This flexible projector offers a multitude of connectivity inputs to make it easy to connect to any computer or high definition device. The HDBaseT input and the separate HDBaseT repeater provide single connections for uncompressed FHD video, audio, ethernet power and a variety of control signals. The HDBaseT repeater is useful for multi-projector installations and can enable 8K resolution by utilizing four projectors with TileMatrix.
The PA1004UL is available with a black or white cabinet and is backwards compatible with existing PA Series lenses to make upgrades easy and cost effective. A complete line of optional motorized lenses is also available, including lens shift, focus and zoom. The PA1004UL keeps total cost of ownership down by being filter and maintenance free thanks to its sealed LCD cooling system which keeps the element dust free. Not only are there no filters to change, the laser engine means there are no bulbs to change either.
The PA1004UL is 4K ready thanks to the proprietary high performance video processing/scaling chip which allows 4K content to be displayed without the loss of critical details. HDR10 and BT.2020 signals from Ultra HD Blu-ray and 4K TV broadcasting are also supported.
The PA1004UL includes a multitude of integrated software applications to enhance interactivity and control. The free Image Calculator and Projector locator tool can be used to input factors such as room size, throw distance, screen size and more to determine the best projector model lens and room placement for user’s specific application. A 5-year or 20,000 hour parts and labor warranty is included.
