Retail Projector Sales – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Retail Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American retailers and web resellers. In the Retail channel, Epson took four of the “Top 5” spots with the EX3220, the VS230, the PowerLite 955W and PowerLite 97 coming in first, second, fourth and fifth, respectively. ViewSonic rounded out this “Top 5” list with the PJD5134 taking third in October.
Pro A/V Projector Sales – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Pro A/V Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American dealers and integrators. In the Pro A/V channel, Hitachi had two of the “Top 5” projectors in October with the CP-X2530WN and the CP-EX250N coming in first and third, respectively. Epson rounded out this “Top 5” list with the PowerLite 97, PowerLite 98 and PowerLite 580 taking the second, fourth and fifth spots.
Distribution Projector Sales – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Distributor Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American A/V and IT distributors. In the Distribution channel, the October results showed InFocus with two of the best-selling models – the IN112a and the IN114a, which came in first and fifth, respectively. NEC rounded out the Distribution “Top 5” with a trio of projectors – the NP-VE281X, NP-M282X and NP-M322X filling the second, third and fourth spot respectively.
