Each month, PMA Research posts the “Top 5” Projector Lists for the following categories:
Mainstream Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Distributor Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American AV and IT distributors. Among Mainstream projectors, InFocus took top honors with the IN112a in the number one spot. InFocus also placed fourth in the June rankings with the IN114a. Epson followed with a pair of interactive projectors – the BrightLink 585Wi and the BrightLink 595Wi – in second and third, respectively. NEC rounded out the list with the NP-VE281X.
4,000+ Lumen Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Pro AV Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American dealers and integrators. In the 4,000+ Lumen projector segment, the June results showed NEC in the number one spot with the NP-PA622U-13ZL. Epson followed with the next three best-selling models. Epson’s PowerLite 1940W, PowerLite 1985WU, and PowerLite 1980WU took the second, third and fourth spots, respectively. Hitachi rounded out this Top 5 list with the CP-WX5022WN.
Pico and Personal Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Retail Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American retailers and web resellers. For the third month in a row, Asus’ S1 was the best-selling model in the Pico and Personal projector segment. AAXA followed and filled the remaining four spots. The AAXA LED Pico, P300 Pico, P4-X and P3-X rounded out June’s “Top 5” list for Pico and Personal projectors.
