The September 2017 PMA Research Distributor Flat Panel Tracking reports showed sales of professional UHD 4K resolution displays continued to grow in September with quadruple the volume of UHD 4K sales from a year ago.
In the AV/IT Distribution channel, UHD models accounted for 21% of revenues and 11% of volume. In September, Samsung was the top-selling manufacturer of UHD displays with a trio of models as best sellers. In the UHD 4K category, their QM65H, QM49H and U32H850UMN were the number one, two and three best-selling models, respectively. LG followed with the 70UW340C, the 55UV340C and the 75UV340C coming in fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.

In the Pro AV channel, UHD models comprised 43% of the overall revenue share in September 2017, which was the second highest revenue share for UHD models, after the record 49% revenue share set in August 2017. Samsung was also the top-seller of UHD 4K models through the Pro AV channel with the QM85D and QM65H as the number one and number two best-selling models. Following in the third spot was SMART with the 6265-V2.
