Home Entertainment Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Retail Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American retailers and web resellers. Optoma had a pair of best-selling models in the Home Entertainment projector segment in May with the HD141X taking top honors and the HD26 coming in third. Epson followed in second place with the PowerLite Home Cinema 5030UB, and the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 2040 took the fourth spot. ViewSonic rounded out the May “Top 5” list with the PJD7828HDL coming in fifth.
Mainstream Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Distributor Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American AV and IT distributors. Among Mainstream projectors, Epson had a trio of top-selling models with the PowerLite 97H, the BrightLink 595Wi and the PowerLite 98H coming in first, second and fourth, respectively. InFocus claimed the third spot with the IN2124a and NEC rounded out this “Top 5” list with the NP-M323W coming in fifth in May.
4,000+ Lumen Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Pro AV Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American dealers and integrators. In the 4,000+ Lumen projector segment, the May results showed Hitachi with a pair of best-selling projectors. The CP-X5022WN took the top spot, and the CP-WX4041WN came in fifth. Epson also had two models make the May list with the PowerLite 1980WU coming in second place and the PowerLite Pro G6470WU coming in fourth. Sony rounded out this “Top 5” list with the VPL-FHZ60/W coming in third.
