Each month, PMA Research posts the “Top 5” Projector Lists for the following categories:
4,000+ Lumen Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Pro AV Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American dealers and integrators. In the 4,000+ Lumen projector segment, the March results showed that Sony’s VPL-FH55/W was the best-selling model. Epson had two models make the list with the PowerLite 1940W coming in second and the PowerLite 1985WU coming in fifth. Panasonic took the third spot with the PT-EZ580, and Optoma rounded out this “Top 5” list with the EH501 in fourth.
Mainstream Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Distributor Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American AV and IT distributors. Among Mainstream projectors, InFocus took top honors with the IN114a coming in first place, and also had their IN112a in the fourth spot. Epson followed with the PowerLite 97 and the PowerLite 955WH coming in second and fourth, respectively. NEC rounded out this Top 5 list with the NP-M282X coming in fifth in March.
Pico and Personal Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Retail Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American retailers and web resellers. In the Pico and Personal projector segment, AAXA had a pair of projectors make the March list with the LED Pico and the P300 Pico coming in first and second respectively. Asus followed with the S1 in the third spot, and Optoma rounded out this “Top 5” list with the ML750 and the ML550 in the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
