Each month, PMA Research posts the “Top 5” Projector Lists for the following categories:
4,000+ Lumen Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Pro AV Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American dealers and integrators. In the 4,000+ Lumen projector segment, the February results showed Epson with a pair of best-selling projectors. The PowerLite 4770W took the top spot, and the PowerLite 1940W came in third. Hitachi also had two models make the February list with the CP-X5022WN coming in second place and the CP-WX4022WN coming in fifth. Optoma rounded out this “Top 5” list with the EH515 coming in fourth.
Mainstream Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Distributor Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American AV and IT distributors. Among Mainstream projectors, InFocus had a pair of top-selling models with the IN114x and the IN124a coming in first and fourth, respectively. Epson also had a pair of projectors make the February list with the PowerLite 97H coming in second and the PowerLite X27 coming in fifth. NEC rounded out this “Top 5” list with the NP-V332X as the third best-selling projector in February.
Pico and Personal Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from data collected from PMA’s monthly Retail Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of North American retailers and web resellers. AAXA had a trio of best-selling models in the Pico and Personal projector segment in February with the LED Pico taking top honors and the P300 Pico and the P4-X coming in second and fourth, respectively. Asus followed in third place with the S1. Optoma rounded out the February “Top 5” list with the ML750 coming in fifth.
