Each month, PMA Research posts their “Top 5” Projector Lists for the following categories:

Interactive Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from PMA’s monthly Pro AV Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of Pro AV dealers and systems integrators. In the Interactive projector segment, Epson nearly swept the “Top 5” models list in November. Epson had four BrightLink models – the 695Wi, 1485Fi, 685Wi and 1480Fi come in first, second, fourth and fifth, respectively. Maxell rounded out the November Interactive models list with the MC-TW3506 in third place.

Laser Projectors (Normal/Semi-Throw) with 5000 and Higher Lumens – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from PMA’s monthly Distributor Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of IT, Pro AV, and CEDIA distributors. In the +5000-lumen, normal-throw, laser-phosphor projector segment, Panasonic had a trio of top-selling models in November. Panasonic’s PT-RZ570, PT-VMZ60, and PT-VMW50 came in first, fourth and fifth, respectively. NEC’s NP-P525UL came in second, and Sony’s VPL-PHZ12 took the third spot.

4K UHD and 4K Support Home Entertainment Projectors – This “Top 5″ list is compiled from PMA’s monthly Retail Projector Tracking Service panel, which is made up of U.S. retailers, web resellers, and custom installers. For 4K UHD and 4K Support home entertainment projector sales, Optoma models landed the top two spots in September. Their UHD30 and UHD50X came in first and second, respectively. In addition, Optoma’s CinemaX P2 came in fifth. BenQ rounded out this November projector list with a pair of models – the HT3550 and the TK850 came in third and fourth, respectively.
