ViewSonic Corp. has announced their latest LS610WH and LS610HDH LED projectors as new additions to the Luminous Superior Series. The projectors range from 2,000 to 4,000 lumens, offer a high contrast ratio and have a lifespan of 30,000 hours, making them ideal for business and education use. ViewSonic touts the new series as a cost-effective projection solution that doesn’t sacrifice image quality.
Featuring the latest third-generation solid-state LED technology, the LS610WH offers WXGA resolution and the LS610HDH has1080p full HD resolution. They utilize an IP5X sealed optical engine to prevent dust and moisture from entering the projector. These features make the LS610 series eco-friendly and virtually maintenance free. An automatic on/off feature delivers additional efficiency and power savings.
The Luminous Superior Series utilizes ViewSonic’s exclusive color technology to deliver a wide gamut and true-to-life colors. In addition, these projectors can be configured to automatically turn on for quick and easy startup whenever an active video input is detected. Conversely, when no signal is present, the projector will automatically power off after a user-defined amount of time. The LS610 series models have 360-degree orientation so can be installed in nearly any position, at any angle from floor to ceiling, making any surface a projection surface.
Finally, these new projectors have comprehensive LAN control come equipped with Crestron, AMX, Extron and ViewSonic vController, which are all easy-to-use network management tools.
The LS610WH is now shipping with an MSRP of $1,599. Pricing and availability for the LS610HDH has not yet been announced.
