ViewSonic Corporation has expanded its line of solid-state projector line with two new additions to the LS series. The LS831WU ultra-short throw laser and LS600W LED projectors come with installation-friendly features for a wide array of environments and applications. ViewSonic developed these new projectors with the latest solid-state technologies to offer more lamp-free projection choices. They incorporate the latest generation of laser and LED technologies to maximize the brightness levels, enhance colors and offer flexible installation options.
The ViewSonic® LS831WU laser projector is an ultra-short throw laser projector engineered with second generation laser technology for improved heat resistance and improved image quality. With a 0.25 ultra-short throw lens and 360-degree placement configuration, the LS831WU enables flexibility with installation projects, offering an image that is seamless and free of bezels from just inches away from a wall or screen. It can be placed in portrait mode, and offers horizontal and vertical keystone correction and four-corner adjustments. An integrated HDBaseT input allows the projector to receive uncompressed HD audio and video over long distances through a single network cable. The LS831WU has WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution and 4,500 lumens brightness.
Engineered for 24/7 continuous operation, the ViewSonic LS600W LED projector features an upgraded RGB light source and second generation LED technology. ViewSonic says that this upgrade enhances brightness by 30 percent when compared to their first generation LED technology. The LS600W achieves 125% Rec.709 color accuracy with Cinema SuperColor+ technology for vivid color reproduction and comes with an IP5X sealed optical engine to prevent dust and moisture. Flexible installation features on this model include 1.2x zoom, 360-degree tilt angle projection and horizontal and vertical keystone correction. The LS600W has WXGA (1280×800) resolution and 3,000 lumens brightness.
Both the LS831WU and LS600W come with integrated Crestron e-Control system and RoomView® Express management software so IT administrators can manage and monitor these projectors remotely. They are Crestron and AMX certified, which allow the projectors to be controlled and overseen across locations and environments.
The LS831WU is available now with an estimated street price of $2,499.00 and the LS600W will be available in Q3 2020 with an estimated street price of $799.00.
