The F35 projector from projectiondesign is being touted by the company as a “unique projector designed for advanced meeting rooms and collaborative spaces in which users are sharing a variety of graphical image content both locally and remotely.”
The F35 panorama boasts an exceptionally wide image aspect ratio of 21:9 or 2.37:1, which enables images as wide as 13’ to be created without the need for edge-blending and the use two separate projectors. The F35 panorama’s input configuration means that it can project simultaneous side-by-side images from two separate high resolution sources, fill an entire screen from a single source, or simply set up a video conference call next to a computer presentation.
Based on projectiondesign’s F35 single-chip DLP platform, the F35 panorama has a resolution of 2560 x 1080, 35% more than Full HD, brightness of up to 7,000 ANSI lumens and has a 24/7 and intensive-use warranty, available for up to five years.
Pacific Media Associates, an analyst firm following the projector market, has found that the rise in popularity of videoconferencing, which traditionally used Flat Panel displays, to be a threat to the meeting room projector segment. The new panoramic F35 will offer a far more flexible option for meetings, videoconferencing and collaboration scenarios in the meeting room of the future!
