PFU America, Inc. has announced it is entering the projector market by unveiling two new series of enterprise DLP laser projectors under the Ricoh name.
The RICOH Compact Laser Projector series is made up of the PJ WXL5860 and PJ WUL5860. The PJ WXL5860 has WXGA resolution and is 4,000 Lumens. The PJ WUL5860 has WUXGA resolution and is 4,700 lumens. The Compact Series projectors are easy-to-use, lightweight, and portable, making them ideal for small to medium-sized meeting room applications. In addition, they support 360-degree installation. Other features include vertical lens shift and four corner keystone correction. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0 and 4K signal compatibility. The sealed optical engine is fully enclosed, with a dust-proof rating of IP6X.
The RICOH High-End Laser Projector series is made up of the PJ WUL6670, PJ WUL6680, and PJ WUL6690. All three offer WUXGA resolution and are 7,200, 8,500 and 9,600 lumens, respectively. These Installation projectors are geared towards bigger conference rooms, large venues, and auditoriums. Built-in edge-blending allows multiple projectors to be used for larger image needs. They feature image correction technology and combine PFU’s NCE natural color gain technology with RGB advanced adjustment to deliver natural and realistic colors. In addition, they offer motorized horizontal and vertical lens shift, Zoom and Focus features making it easy to adjust the image regardless of the installation location.
