At the recent Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas, Panasonic debuted the PT-RZ570WU laser projector. This new flagship model has 5,200 lumens of brightness, enhanced picture quality, a 20,000-hour life and offers maintenance-free 24/7 continuous operation, making it ideal for Digital Signage applications.
The PT-RZ570WU incorporates the latest DLP module for WUXGA resolution and also features a new-generation of solid-state laser diodes. It has a four-segment Quartet Color Harmonizer color wheel that reduces energy loss from the light source, boosting perceived brightness and improving color accuracy. It also features DIGITAL LINK connectivity based on HDBaseT technology that supports long distance transmission of HDMI signals and more through a single LAN cable.
Analyst firm PMA Research has been keeping a close eye on the Laser projector market, and PMA’s latest forecast showed that the 2015 laser, laser/LED and laser/phosphor projector market grew by more than 20% over 2014.
