Panasonic recently announced the launch of the new PT-RZ12KU laser projector. The 12,000 lm WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200) projector boasts a 120 Hz frame-rate designed to reduce blur from motion to deliver clearer images.
At less than 95 pounds (43 kg), Panasonic touts the PT-RZ12KU as the world’s lightest 3-Chip DLP laser projector. This projector is geared for rental and staging, sports production and digital signage solutions. The PT-RZ12KU has a contrast ratio of 20,000:1 also making it suitable for simulation, monitoring, and higher education use.
The new PT-RZ12KU projector allows for vertical, horizontal and tilting 360-degree projection enabled by a laser light source. With multi-screen projection and geometric adjustment Panasonic emphasizes its focus on system and installation flexibility for its users.
Panasonic also announced the PT-RS11KU, which is also a 12,000 lumen laser projector with SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) resolution. Both will begin shipping in summer 2015.
