Optoma has introduced the UHZ35ST, a short throw, 4K UHD laser projector geared towards home entertainment and gaming. The new model builds on their UHD35STx. New features include an external power supply and other various feature upgrades to offer more reliability, portability, and energy efficiency than its predecessor.
The UHZ35ST offers 3,500 lumens, a 500,000:1 contrast ratio, and Optoma’s DuraCore laser light source, resukting in a long life span of up to 30,000 hours in Eco Mode. The short throw lens can display up to 100-inch images from a few feet away from the screen. The UHZ35ST also sports a compact design and is 34% smaller than the UHD35STx.
Equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone, as well as 360° and portrait mode operation, the UHZ35ST guarantees flexible installation in virtually any orientation and location. Designed with the environment in mind, the UHZ35ST’s chassis is made up of 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials to ensure environmental sustainability.
With four times the standard refresh rate at 240Hz in 1080p and an ultra low-input lag of 4ms for PC gaming, the UHZ35ST gives gamers a smooth and responsive gaming experience. It also has a variety of inputs and outputs, including 2x HDMI 2.0 in, 3.5mm Audio out, USB-A power 1.5A, RS232 and RJ45.
The Optoma UHZ35ST is now shipping in the U.S and Canada. with and MSRP of USD $3,299 and CAD $4,499.
