Christie recently released the Inspire 4K860-iS 1DLP fixed-lens laser projector. This 8,500 lumen 4K UHD projector is a compact, lightweight professional-grade choice for small-to-mid-size venues weighing in at 33 pounds.
The 4K860-iS features an IP5X dust-resistant optical engine, quiet 34dB operation, and advanced electronics for onboard Christie Twist warping and blending and optional Mystique automated camera-based alignment software.
It also supports 4K UHD passive polarized 3D content and has a high contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 with the Christie RealBlack feature enabled.
Several features offer greater installation flexibility. The projector has an extended throw ratio of 1.25 to 2.0 for larger screens and greater installation flexibility and is omnidirectional to operate in any orientation.
The 4K860-iS is compatible with Christie Intelligent Camera (CIC), which triggers autofocus, automatically calibrates projector color, and optimizes color uniformity. This new projector offers AMX, Creston and PJLink connectivity for enhanced collaboration and easy integration.
There is an input source seamless switch which makes it easier and faster to switch the SNG (Satellite News Gathering) signal live. Also onboard is an input signal backup switch for redundancy during live events.
