Hisense has debuted two new Laser TV bundles, which include an ultra-short throw projector and a screen. The L9G TriChroma ultra short throw 4K laser projector is being marketed as an alternative to a flat-screen TV. It features 40 watts of Dolby Atmosand Dolby Digital sound built-in, or you can send digital audio back to a receiver using an HDMI connection with eARC (or process the sound with your receiver before passing the video back to the projector). Android TV is built-in as well, allowing you to access apps from the Google App Store, as well as other streaming services directly from the projector. Viewers can also use Google Assistant to quickly find content. The L9G TriChroma projector also supports smart home integration with Google, Alexa, and Control4.
The L9G offers a wide range of connectivity, with two HDMI ports offering up to 4K resolution at 120 Hz, while a third supports up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz. There are also two USB ports, analog and optical audio out, a serial connection, a coax TV tuner connection, and an Ethernet port. In addition, it offers built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support.
Hisense’s new L9G TriChroma projectors are available with a 100-inch screen ($5,499 MSRP) or with a 120-inc screen ($5,999 MSRP). The 100-inch is available right now from select retailers, and the 120-inch will begin shipping in the fourth quarter..
