At CEDIA 2024, Epson will debut their new line of premium home entertainment solutions, the Q-Series 4K 3LCD Laser Projectors. The new series is comprised of the 3,300 lumen QB1000, the 6,000 lumen QL3000 and the 10,000 lumen QL7000 models.
All three new projectors feature Epson’s 3LCD technology, offer 4K resolution and HDR10, and operate at a refresh rate of 120 Hz, making them well-suited for watching sports, movies and gaming. All new models can be purchased with either a black or white chassis.
Additionally, the Q Series models are outfitted with Epson’s new 32-bit QZX picture processor and the QL models can be used with a variety of optional lenses for the perfect home theater or media room set up. New technology includes a heat sink to more efficiently cool the projector and these models have a new laser light source which is 75% smaller than the previous line-up.
All three models are rated with a 20,000 life on the light engine, are ISF Certified, and Smart Home Control compatible with systems such as Control4 and Crestron. The Q Series projectors also have a 3-axis motorized lens shift and can include memory presets (depending on the options lens chosen for the QL models). Finally, enhanced connectivity includes Dual 40 Gbps HDMI® 2.1 ports with ARC & eARC.
The QB1000 (MSRP $7,999) will be available in September and the QL3000 (MSRP $14,999) and QL7000 (MSRP $29,999) will be available in October 2024.
