Epson has introduced the Home Cinema 1450 projector, a 4,200 lumen, 3-chip 3LCD projector with Full HD 1080p resolution. The Home Cinema 1450 was designed to deliver a versatile and bright viewing experience with 1080p widescreen performance, simultaneous, side-by-side image display from multiple sources, and offers a host of connectivity options.
The Home Cinema 1450 projector offers easy-to-use setup tools and a built-in 16 W speaker. Various connectivity options are provided, including cable/satellite boxes, gaming consoles, Chromecast™, Roku®, Amazon Fire™ TV, and Apple TV® with 2x HDMI® and MHL®3 ports.
In addition, the Home Cinema 1450 has a 16:10 aspect ratio, Vertical and Horizontal Keystone correction, and manual Optical Zoom and Focus. It also boasts a 15,000:1 contrast ratio and a 10,000 hour lamp life.
The Epson Home Cinema 1450 will be available April 17 with and MSRP of $1,499
Analyst firm PMA Research follows the display market, including the Home Theater segment. In their last End-Use survey, PMA Research found that projector owners bought their home projector because they wanted a very large image or “theater-like” experience.
