Epson has introduced eight new PowerLitePro G-Series projectors geared towards large venue applications. All eight of the new models have a built-in HDBaseT interface and are compatible with Crestron, AMX, Extron XTP and Control4 Simple Device Discovery Protocol (SDDP). The new Pro G models offer between 4,500 to 7,000 lumens and offer a range of resolutions, including XGA, WXGA and WUXGA.
The Pro G-Series projectors are also equipped with Multi-PC Projection with Moderator so users can connect up to 50 devices wirelessly, including computers plus iOS and Android tablets and phones. In addition, the new Pro G-Series includes cloning features, which allow users to copy projector settings from one system to others using a USB thumb drive, a PC or over the network, saving time and resources for multi-location installations.
Several of the new PowerLite Pro G models offer widescreen, full HD performance (WUXGA) for presentations, videos, digital signage, and more. In addition, all models are compatible with DisplayPort connectivity. Additional features include six optional lenses with lens shift: including rear-, middle- and long-throw lenses and also features built-in edge blending and 360-degree installation ability.
The upgraded PowerLite Pro G models will be available in March 2015 and range in price from $3,459 to $6,499.
Recent findings from PMA Research show that the High-End / Large Venue projector market grew by more than 10% worldwide in 2014.
