Epson has introduced the BrightLink®Pro 1410Wi– an interactive ultra-short throw projector which features video conferencing compatibility and remote collaboration abilities.
The network-enabled BrightLink Pro projector can be used as a digital whiteboard, and users can display presentations and a live meeting at the same time using the split screen option. The BrightLink Pro comes with a Control Pad, which acts as a USB hub, an extension to USB ports or as a remote control unit for selecting major functions, such as Whiteboard Mode, Source Search, Capture, Print, or Save. This 3-Chip, 3LCD unit is 3,100 lumens with WXGA resolution. The BrightLink®Pro 1410Wi is also compatible with Epson’s free iProjection app.
They have partnered with Milestone to offer a bundle which includes the projector, a Chief mount and a DaLite screen, with finish options for custom screen borders in cherry, aluminum or teak. The unit will ship this month with MSRP’s ranging from $2,999 to $4,499, depending on the bundle and screen border finish.
Recent findings from PMA Research have shown that interactive projectors are gaining in popularity for use in corporate meetings. Ultra-short-throw models are also set to out-pace growth rates of traditional meeting room projectors. Epson has added enhanced aesthetics to the mix with the Chief/DaLite bundle options making this offering very attractive.
