Epson recently introduced two new EX Pro series projectors, which feature high brightness and advanced connectivity options, including built-in wireless projection and Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL®) support. At 3,000 lumens, the new EX7235 Pro and EX7230 Pro are designed for meeting rooms with ambient light and offer WXGA resolution for widescreen HD presentations.
The EX7235 Pro includes a Wi-Fi module and a new quick connect on-screen QR code feature for wireless setup. The on-screen QR code provides easy access to content from smartphones and tablets by turning the projector on and using the iProjection appto scan the on-screen QR code to be instantly connected to share content
In addition, both the EX7235 Pro and EX7230 Pro include an HDMI port, which supports MHL, to display content from MHL-enabled smartphones and tablets.
The Epson EX7235 Pro and EX7230 Pro will be available in September with MSRP’s of $649 and $599, respectively.
Recent end-user survey results from PMA Research found that the ability for users to easily connect wirelessly from smartphones and tablets was a big hot button for presenters.
