At the recent IFA tradeshow in Berlin, Epson Europe introduced six new home entertainment projectors, which offer a variety of price points and specifications to suit different budgets and uses. Ranging from entry level “cross-over” projectors suitable for home or office use, to affordable 4K PRO-UHD projectors with built in Android TV, to the latest Epson EpiqVision UST Laser Projectors with 4K-UHD resolution, there is a projector suited for home office use, movies buffs, gamers and sports fans in the new line ups.
The new line-up includes two multi-purpose entry level projectors ideal for the hybrid work-from-home and online learning trends. The CO-FH02 and CO-W01 each have a compact design making them easier to carry between rooms and are ideal for education, home and office environments. The CO-W01 is a WXGA resolution. The CO-FH02 is Full HD and also comes with built in Android TV so you can stream the latest films, tv shows and content straight to the projector.
Also introduced at IFA were the EH-TW6150 and EH-TW6250 entry level 4K PRO-UHD projectors. With a sleek new curved design at an affordable price, users can enjoy the latest movies, sporting events and gaming releases anywhere in the home with flexible placement via the vertical lens shift. Both models make perfect gaming companions with an under 20 millisecond lag time for a fast and responsive gaming experience. The EH-TW6250 also comes with built in Android TV for seamless streaming.
Finally, Epson also introduced the EpiqVision Ultra EH-LS800B and EH-LS800W ultra-short-throw models providing even closer positioning to the wall. Available in both black and white these projectors offer a solid blend of high brightness, image quality and versatility by leveraging Epson’s laser light source technology. Thanks to their close-to-the-wall location, and 4K PRO-UHD resolution giving a crisp and sharp image, these are easy to use and set up. They offer a great replacement to the traditional TV, blending in to even the smallest of living rooms and delivering flexible image sizes from 80” to 150” starting from just 2.3cm from the wall. Ideal for tv shows, films and sports, they also come with a new dedicated gaming port providing an under 20 millisecond lag time. The projectors’ built-in AndroidTV delivers streaming, casting and smart controls. With built-in sound with Yamaha speakers delivering a full audio experience, there is no need for additional external speakers.
