Epson showcased a new range of compact, interchangeable-lens Pro L laser projectors at ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) 2019 along with new 9,000 and 30,000 lumen laser projectors to expand their Pro L series line up.
The new Pro L projectors are Epson’s most compact, versatile laser projectors which support interchangeable lenses. The sleek design and quieter fan noise ensure they fit seamlessly into a wide variety of large venue environments such as visitor attractions, higher education lecture halls, museums and corporate meeting rooms.
Each projector is available as ‘body only’ which provides the user with a wide choice of optional lenses. This flexible approach, rather than a rigid ‘off the shelf’ offering, allows the user to fit the most appropriate lens for any given scenario. There are 12 interchangeable Epson lenses available, covering short to long throw projection. Epson will also provide a multi-use package, with the ELPLM08 lens, for those who need a complete out-of-the-box projection solution.
The EB-L1075U, EB-L1070U and EB-L1050U produce bright (up to 7,000 lumens) detailed laser image quality, rich colors, high contrast, clear whites, defined shadow detail and deep blacks. These are achieved through WUXGA resolution, 4K enhancement, laser light source technology, high CLO (Color Light Output), 3LCD technology and native contrast of 2000:1. The 4K Enhancement feature is available only on WUXGA projector models. The 4K Enhancement Technology (4Ke) shifts each pixel diagonally to double Full HD resolution. Resolution is Full HD in 3D Mode.
Installation is easy and their ‘fit-and-forget’ reliability means they can be positioned even in hard-to-access areas. They also benefit from 360 degree installation flexibility and are quieter and lighter than the previous series. Once fitted, these laser projectors are maintenance free for 20,000 hours.
Also announced is a new 30,000 lumens laser projector, the Epson Pro L30000U, a high-end installation laser projector and the new 9,000 lumen laser projector which joins the successful Pro L1000-Series. These projectors are designed for permanent installations as well as rental and staging. The new Pro L projectors will be available Fall 2019 with pricing announced prior to launch.
