Delta Displays recently announced their WX series front-projection video wall displays at InfoComm. They feature Delta’s latest ultra-short throw projectors and edge-blending technologies. They are available in both free standing and wall mounted options.
The WX Series comes in four configurations. The WX21 provides two edge-blended projectors and a total screen area of 143”. The WX31 provides three edge-blended projectors with a total screen size of 210”. Both are configured for wall-supported mounting. The WX22 uses four edge-blended projectors in a two-high array with a viewing area of 146” and the WX32 provides six edge-blended projectors in a three-wide by two-high array with a viewing area of 183”. The WX22 and WX32 are configured for free standing applications.
With digital signage gaining in popularity in recent years, projector market research firm Pacific Media Associates has long felt that many digital signage applications were better served by front projection. Delta’s product looks to be a good one for such applications.
