Christie recently announced the addition of four new 1DLP® laser projection solution to their line up of Laser projectors. The Christie D20WU-HS and D20HD-HS are light-weight 1DLP laser projectors offering 20,000 lumens. The new Christie D16WU-HS and D16HD-HS, offering 16,000 lumens are also 1DLP laser projectors and are designed to operate at full brightness on a single 15A, 110V circuit. All four new HS series projectors offer Christie BoldColor Technology for enhanced color performance which meets the Rec. 709 standard, as well as a long-life laser light source with up to 20,800 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation. As far as large-venue projectors go, the new HS series models are compact and light – weighing in at less than 100 pounds for easy lifting, shipping and setup.
In addition, these new models offer optional Christie Twist compatibility for quick and easy setup of multi-projector displays and the ability to align irregular screens for blending and warping applications. Easy set up is also aided by their fully omnidirectional capabilities which gives unrestricted design and installation flexibility. Further Christie’s new HS models are designed to work with all Christie HS Series lenses for added versatility. The Christie D20WU-HS/D20HD-HS and D16WU-HS/D16HD-HS come standard with a host of connectivity options, including 2 HDMI, BNC/3GSDI, DVI-D, HD15, USB-A with optional WiFi dongle and HDBaseT. With Christie Virtual Remote 1DLP users have wireless control from any smartphone or tablet. Finally, with Christie’s advanced electronics, firmware updates will take only minutes.
These new projector will begin shipping in August 2018 with a three-year parts and labor warranty. No pricing has been announced yet.
