Christie recently highlighted the next-generation M-series projector, the M 4K25 RGB pure laser projector. With 25,000 lumens and a small form factor, the M 4K25 RGB is the latest addition to their 3DLP RGB pure laser projection line up. The new M 4K25 RGB is quiet at 46.5 dB, and Christie touts double the brightness, double the color volume, and quadruple the resolution over legacy M Series projectors.
The M 4K25 is a fully omnidirectional 3DLP RGB pure laser projector weighs in at 92 lbs. (41.7 kg) and will fit in the same rigging cage as the original M series projectors. It is also compatible with the original M Series, J and Crimson Series lenses. The new M Series also features dual voltage operation and can operates between 200-240 VAC at full brightness or 100-120 VAC at half brightness which effectively doubles the lifetime of the laser optical system. It offers 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution and has a field-replaceable RGB laser light source for easy service. The M 4K25 achieves ~98% of the Rec. 2020 color gamut and can also enhance the Rec. 709 and DCI-P3 content color performance.
The M 4K25 includes new proprietary technology from Christie. All-in-one TruLife+ Electronics has all needed connectivity built into the projector.TruLife+’s all-in-one connectivity makes it easy to switch inputs wherever and whenever needed Their proprietary LiteLOC technology can automatically manage the projectors brightness over time in higher ambient temperatures and more humid environments to ensure your presentation is the same as day one. Additionally, the integrated user interface with full-color LCD allows you to see input signal thumbnails and projector health at-a-glance. Finally, the Web UI allows users to access all projector menus and controls via the ethernet web interface for real-time adjustments and monitoring of each projector on a network.
The m 4K25 is compatible with standard Christie Twist software for User controlled warping and blending, as well as standard Mystique Lite software for automated warping and blending. These are free downloads from Christie, and enhanced conmpatible versions are available for a fee.
