Christie recently announced nine new additions to their 3-Chip DLP M Series platform. They are the Christie DS+14K-M, Christie HD 14K-M, Christie WU14K-M, Roadster S+14K-M, Roadster HD14K-M , Roadster WU14K-M, Mirage DS+14K-M, Mirage HD14K-M and Mirage WU14K-M projectors. These new models are 14,000 lumens, have built-in Christie Twist, which enables edge-blending and warping, as well as built-in portrait mode capabilities. The new M Series projectors are also equipped with ‘hot swappable’ mercury lamps and range in resolution from SXGA+ to WUXGA.
The final 3-Chip DLP announcement is the Christie D4K25 which offers 4K resolution, up 25,000 lumens, the flexibility to use different lamp powers to extend lamp life and automated image alignment.
Christie Twist warping and blending software was also highlighted in an impressive projection mapping display during the recent InfoComm tradeshow. The content, designed and mapped by BARTKRESA Design was projected onto a large pyramid structure.
