BenQ recently announced two new laser gaming projectors with 3,200 lumens brightness and a low input lag, ensuring a smooth gaming experience even with ambient lighting conditions. The new models, the BenQ TK710 and BenQ TK710STi are the latest models BenQ has added to their Gaming projector lineup.
While both models share the same chassis and DLP engine, they are optimized for different throw distances. The BenQ TK710 is a normal-throw model, while the TK71oSTi has short-throw capabilities.
BenQ touts 95% coverage of the Rec.709 color gamut, and a 600,000:1 contrast ratio, eco-mode and HDR game modes optimized for RPG and FPS games.
The BenQ TK710 includes vertical lens shift, keystone correction and 1.3 x zoom functions. The TK710STi does not have lens shift capabilities and has a 1.2 x zoom, but the TK710STi ships with a free Android TV dongle that can be plugged in to access streaming services like Netflix.
As for connectivity, the two models both sport a pair of HDMI 2.0b ports, with one supporting enhanced audio return to enable 7.1-channel surround sound with Dolby Atmos. There is an integrated 5-watt speaker or users can utilize headphones via the 3.5mm headphone jack or Bluetooth.
The projectors are available now. TheTK710 has an MSRP of $1,799, and the TK710STi has an MSRP of $1,999.
