At the upcoming InfoComm trade show, BenQ will introduce two new high-brightness projectors. The SH963 and SX914 feature 6,000 lumens of dual-lamp power and XGA resolution (SX914). These full HD 1080p models also feature a 50,000:1 contrast ratios, enhanced HQV processors, horizontal/vertical lens shift and zoom capabilities, and 2D keystone correction.
BenQ will also debut its new MX819ST and MW820ST short-throw projectors. The new projectors are XGA and WXGA resolutions respectively, have contrast ratios up to 13000:1, with more than 3,000 lumens of brightness. They will be used to demo BenQ’s Classroom IQ Solutions – the QDraw3 interactive software and app and the QPresenter software and app.
Finally, BenQ is unveiling its powerful 3D solutions with the world’s first built-in 5GHz wireless full HD 1080p projector. Designed for home theater settings, the new W1500 projects uncompressed full HD images without the use of HDMI cables. The unit also enables mobile device integration for wireless connectivity with an Apple® TV or iPad®.
Recent findings from PMA Research show that despite a still sluggish 2013 projector market, that sales of large-venue, short-throw and interactive projectors are outperforming the overall market so BenQ should fare well with these additions to their line-up.
