Elmo USA recently announced the third model in their BOXi projector line – the BOXi-T200 Mini projector, which utilizes an LED optical engine and boasts a 20,000 hours lamp life. At 300 lumens, Elmo is targeting this unit at both consumers and business users.
The Short-Throw lens produces a 50″ image at 3.3 feet from the screen. The unit has a 16×9 aspect ratio and is WXGA resolution. At just 1.1 pounds, the unit is extremely portable. The included case acts as a stand for flexible set up.
The BOXi-T200 projector can project wirelessly using the computer APP BOXi Play or the iPhone® and iPad® iOS App BOXi Air. The BOXi-T200 is available now with an MSRP of $429.
PMA Research has recently released their 2014 Mobile Solid State Projector Report. Included in the report are forecasts for the Pico, Personal and Embedded projector markets. Sales of projectors like the BOXi-T200 are expected to increase in the coming years as products specs and features continue to improve.
