Vivitek, a Delta Company, has announced a new collaboration solution with an all-in-one display called NovoTouch. The NovoTouch line of Interactive Flat Panel Displays (iFPD) fosters group work by wirelessly connecting up to 64 users to one large format iFPD. The new iFPD screens are designed to provide a fluid collaborative experience in classrooms and conference rooms.
The NovoTouch screens allow participants to manipulate content with up to 20-points of touch, common gesture interactivity and on-screen annotation. With IR touch technology, the iFPDs are simple to interact with using a finger, stylus, glove or other opaque object. The iFPDs come equipped with Vivitek’s NovoConnect BYOD collaboration system allowing users to share content from their own devices through a wireless network.
The NovoTouch product line comes in four screen sizes, ranging from 65” up to 98”. The LED-backlit panels have a 4K Ultra-HD (3840 x 2160) native resolution, a minimum 300 nits of brightness and a 1200:1 contrast ratio. The screen surface is protected with 4mm thick toughened glass and is anti-glare to improve visibility in environments with a high level of ambient light.
The OS is compatible with Windows® 7 and above, Mac®, Android, Chrome and Linux. The iFPDs offer a full array of connectivity ports including HDMI v2, HDMI v1.4 (2), DisplayPort, RS232 along with a host of others. Standard accessories include a wall mount kit, stylus (x3), cables (VGA, USB and Audio), power cord and remote control.
The NovoTouch iFPDs LK6530i, LK7530i, LK8630i and LK9830i are available in the European market at prices of £2,190, £3,690, £5,390 and £17,090 excluding VAT, respectively.
PMA Research, a leading analyst firm specializing in the professional display market, has reported 65% year-over-year sales growth for large format iFPDs through distribution in the United States.
