SMART Technologies announced new updates on their most popular models, including the SMART Board MX series for schools and the SMART Board MX Pro Series for business customers. SMART has also updated their advanced lineup by adding the SMART Board 7000R series and SMART Board 7000R Pro series. All of these SMART Board models are designed to be easy to use and streamline workflow in collaborative environments.
The user and budget friendly SMART Board MX series and SMART Board MX Pro series with iQ embedded computing provide ease of use interactivity essentials such as the ability to switch functional modes with a tap. It includes new HyPr Touch™ with Advanced IR (infrared), 20 simultaneous touch points and a smooth writing experience. These series are available in three screen sizes, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 86-inch.
The new SMART Board 7000R series and SMART Board 7000R Pro series, which come in 75-inch and 86-inch screen sizes, are high performance displays with advanced collaboration and connectivity features, including guest connectivity. HyPr Touch with EMR (electromagnetic resonance) technology is exclusive to the 7000R series and provides lag-fee pressure sensitive writing precision and ignores a resting hand for ultimate ease-of-use. These displays have built-in iQ Android™ along with USB-C connectivity, freeze frame and support up to 20 simultaneous touch points on both Windows® and MAC®. SMART Ink® software provides the ability to write over displayed content such as videos, PDFs, websites and Microsoft Office files and then save those notes in almost any file format.
The 4K UHD, commercial-grade, SMART Board MX, MX Pro, 7000R and 7000R series are all ENERGY STAR® certified, rated for 50,000 hours of reliable use and are backed by the SMART Assure 3 year warranty.
SMART also introduced SMART OPS PC modules with Windows 10 Pro computing in two processor options, Intel® Core™ i5 and i7 vPro™.
