Sharp is adding a new series of large format professional displays into their digital signage portfolio. The new PN-Q series displays are Low-Energy-Optimized LCD panels designed for use in retail or hospitality digital signage applications and corporate meeting rooms.
The PN-Q series of panels offer a cost-effective signage solution with edge-lit LED backlighting and narrow bezels for a stylish slim design. The PN-Q displays combine full HD 1920×1080 resolution, 350-nit brightness, anti-glare coating and remote controllability via RS-232C or LAN. The panels are designed for up to 16/7 usage and are built with an integrated USB media player, two integrated 10-watt speakers and have a three-year onsite limited warranty.
The PN-Q series has a 70” model (PN-Q701) that is available now in the UK and the series will also have a 60” (PN-Q601), an 80” (PN-Q801) and an extra-large 90” (PN-Q901) model which are planned to become available in the coming weeks. Pricing and availability dates for the North American market have not been released yet.
