Philips has added an impressive 98-inch large display to their D-Line series of Signage Solutions. The new model, 98BDL4150D/00, like the smaller models in the series, is designed to run Android apps. With Android 7.1.2 OS integrated into the display, users can select apps from the extensive Android library or develop and run their own app. Users can upload media into the display and play it immediately or schedule it with the built-in scheduler. User content can also be accessed and controlled over the cloud via the integrated HTML5 browser; and with the display’s internal memory, content can be stored and played back even if the network goes down.
The 98BDL4150D/00 features 4K Ultra HD resolution, 1.07 billion colors and 500 nits of brightness for the attention-grabbing imagery needed in corporate, education and retail environments. The display can be placed in either landscape or portrait orientation, has a slim 3.3 inch depth and 16 mm bezels and can be tiled in a matrix.
Other notable features of the display are CMND & Control and CMND & Create. CMND & Control allows users to easily manage multiple displays from a single remote location. CMND & Create allows users to design their own content with an easy-to-use drag and drop interface. The display also has the SmartPower energy saving feature which allows the backlight intensity to be controlled and pre-set by the system to reduce the power consumption by up to 50%.
The 98BDL4150D/00 also has further useful features such as FailOver to provide back-up content, built-in OPS and mini PCI express slots, 2 built-in 10W speakers and a 3-year warranty.
