Panasonic recently announced a new line of entry-level professional TVs for use in conference rooms, classrooms, restaurants & sports bars and many other digital signage applications. The new CQ2U series of professional TVs offer 4K UHD resolution and a variety of beneficial features that enhance functionality without exceeding the budget.
There are six screen sizes in the CQ2U series ranging from 43 to 86 inches. These displays deliver highly detail content with a brightness of 400 cd/m² and content adjustments to enrich image quality. The built-in ATSC/NTSC/QAM TV tuner broadens the user applications for the CQ2U series. It can be used as a TV or a display for presentation or information purposes, flexibly adapting to offices, schools, and hospitality venues.
The CQ2U’s ADS panel has a wide viewing position with little change in color when the screen is viewed from an angle. This allows images to appear crisp for a superb viewing experience from any angle making it ideal for providing clear information in crowded places.
The CQ2U is also ADA compliant and can be ‘forward tilted’ up to 20° in landscape orientation to maintain image legibility when mounted in high installations. Its power management feature detects input signals and automatically turns the TV ON/OFF to aid power conservation. The CQ2U displays are also equipped with built-in speakers to eliminate the need for external speakers.
Panasonic’s CQ2U professional TVs are easy to install and support LAN, serial, and three (3) HDMI CEC control for multiple device connectivity to integrate simply into any environment. The CQ2U displays are designed for continuous 16-hours of operation. The 75-inch model, TH-75CQ2U is expected to be available in December 2021 and the other five models,
TH-43CQ2U, TH-50CQ2U, TH-55CQ2U, TH-65CQ2U and TH-86CQ2U, are planned for release in February 2022.
