Optoma Europe has expanded their visual display technology offerings to include a range of high-brightness, high-resolution, indoor LED displays for any retail, digital signage, corporate, higher education or leisure and hospitality environment. The LED displays, launched in the European market earlier this year, come in five different pixel pitches ranging from 1.5mm to 3.9mm. Beyond pixel pitches, options for these LED displays include Full HD or 4K UHD resolution with 16:9 native aspect ratios with pre-set diagonal sizes ranging from 136” to 452”. Custom sizes and resolutions can also be configured. Optoma offers a custom design service to help clients configure the ideal LED display for their particular applications.
All of these displays have the same ultra-thin 56mm depth for a sleek, space-saving design and can be mounted on a suitable wall without a mounting frame. (Although a simple, lightweight frame option is also available). Optoma LED displays are designed as a complete solution and include the cables and pre-configured processors needed to be an out-of-the-box solution. The displays have front access to ease installation and maintenance.
HQUltra technology is used in Optoma’s range of scaler-switchers, which are designed for use with their LED displays. They provide 4K image processing for superior picture quality and low latency video processing. Inputs can be switched in as little as 0.25 seconds.
Optoma’s model numbers for their pre-configured LED displays are: FHD153169, FHD20422, FHD26528, UHD156338, UHD20845 and UHD261056. Optoma’s model numbers for their individual LED display panels used in custom configurations are: THD1560, THD2080, THD2600, THD3125 and THD3910.
PMA Research, the experts in market research for the large-format display industry, has reported on the increasing adoption of indoor LED (aka direct view LED) displays. Their bright and seamless look can provide a desirable solution for certain applications.
