LG introduced its All-in-One Direct View LED screen for meetings at ISE last year and it has recently started shipping. The LAA015F bezel-less 130-inch Meeting Room LED Screen with 1.5mm pixel pitch and FHD resolution was designed for mid- to large-sized conference rooms.
It is assembled from a 3×3 array of bezel-less LED unit cases which provide an improved image when compared to a videowall made from an array of conventional LCD panels. Each unit case contains 12 LED modules. The completed 130” screen is composed of one master unit case and eight auxiliary unit cases. Each case recognizes its location and setting values to simplify the setup process. The screen can be mounted on the wall or on a stand.
The embedded 162W Surface Sound audio system allows users to communicate and share images without the need for external speakers. Sound emits from 36 points across the screen making it audible for all meeting attendees. The screen can be controlled with a remote control without the need for a PC.
The LAA015F has a built-in quad-core SoC that can execute several tasks at once while providing smooth content playback without the need for a media player. With optional software, this display solution is designed to be compatible with Crestron room control system.
The LAA015F supports HDR10 to provide a wider color spectrum and greater contrast ratio so that content has more impact. The embedded control unit offers several connectivity options including three HDMI ports in addition to DisplayPort, USB, LAN, Data, Audio and RS232C ports.
