Leyard®, along with Planar, a Leyard company, introduced their new LED MultiTouch, a seamless touch-enabled LED video wall. These interactive video walls are designed for any collaborative environment, from classrooms and control rooms to conference rooms.
The Leyard LED MultiTouch features the patent-pending PLTS™ (Pliable LED Touch Surface™) technology. The PLTS provides a smooth, seamless and lightweight surface. The PLTS is an ultrathin proprietary antiglare material applied to the surface of the LED video wall. The PLTS technology also offers uniform color and brightness with direct and off-axis viewing. The PLTS offers advantages over glass on high resolution LED interactive video walls because it doesn’t trap heat or reflect light. The PLTS is durable, protective and easy to clean. The PLTS on the Leyard LED MultiTouch spans continuously across LED video walls creating a seamless interactive surface area.
The Leyard LED MultiTouch incorporates touch technology that allows up to 32 simultaneous touch points so that multiple users can interact with the video wall simultaneously without affecting the other users.
The Leyard LED MultiTouch has a sleek framing system and is available in three standard diagonal screen sizes; 108”, 151” and 196”. The operating system is compatible with Windows, Mac, Android and Linux.
The Leyard LED MultiTouch is scheduled to ship in Q3 2017 through Leyard and Planar authorized resellers.
