Boxlight Corporation, has introduced a new line of interactive flat panel displays, the ProColor Series 1. Boxlight has expanded its footprint of interactive display technologies through its acquisition of Mimio in 2016. Mimio is recognized as a leading provider of interactive teaching technologies and the combined product lines have dovetailed together to create a complete suite of education technology solutions.
The ProColor Series 1 displays have been designed to engage students in collaborative K-12 whole-class learning environments with crisp bright LED backlighting, 4K UHD resolution and built-in speakers. The ProColor Series 1 displays are available in four different screen sizes; the 65” ProColor 652, the 70” ProColor 702, the 75” ProColor 752 and the 86” ProColor 862.
These ProColor IFP displays allow up to 20 single-point touch users or up to 10 dual-touch and gestures users to work simultaneously. Each interactive display also includes the MimioStudio™ classroom software license to help create and deliver engaging lessons. The MimioStudio™ software integrates easily with other Boxlight products, including the MimioMobile™ app. The ProColor Series 1 panels come standard equipped with the Android 5.1 OS for touch control and smooth anti-glare glass.
PMA Research, a leading analyst firm for the Display Industry, covers large (32” and up) flat panel display sales channels and has tracked increasing growth for interactive flat panel displays. They specifically reported that IFP displays comprised 10% of total FP units sold in April 2017, up from 7% in March.
