Panasonic has designed their latest MEVIX DvLED, the TL-55LV12A, to be a flexible, bezel-less display that reduces visibility issues common with conventional video walls. With a 55-inch form factor, 800 cd/m² brightness, a wide color gamut, and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, it delivers clear images even in bright environments.
With flexible sizing and layout configurations, users can combine multiple 55-inch displays to build any large-screen video wall a space calls for, with both landscape and portrait orientations as options. From initial layout through day-to-day operation, a dedicated LED Configurator and included LED Manager LV software support planning and control directly from a computer.
An integrated design eliminates the need for an external controller. Video, control, and power signals daisy-chain over a single HDMI™ connection, supporting up to four displays in a landscape or portrait run, so large-format installations come together with much simpler cabling requirements when compared to conventional video walls.
The TL-55LV12A’s Flipchip COB LED modules are rated for 100,000 hours to half brightness and are also rated for continuous 24/7 operation. The display offers strong resistance to minor impacts and stains, making it an ideal display for public-facing and surveillance environments alike.
Weighing in at under 50-pounds and just 29 mm thick, the TL-55LV12A handles like an LCD display rather than a traditional video wall panel, reducing many of the issues of transport and installation. Its slim profile also fits confined spaces where bulkier displays can’t be installed. 400 × 400 mm VESA-compliant mounting holes let you reuse existing LCD video wall mounts and brackets while purpose-built brackets attach between units and at both ends, simplifying alignment and installation for multi-screen, large-format displays.
Finally, a front-access design lets modules, power supply units, and circuit boards be removed and replaced from the front, even on a wall-mounted display, so maintenance happens with minimal downtime.
