This week at CES 2026 Epson announced that some new LifestudioTM projectors will be powered by MediaTek’s advanced system-on-chip (SoC) smart projector platform, which will integrate Google TV™ with Gemini. This upgrade aims to deliver an AI-powered streaming experience for home entertainment. These new features will enable users to access streaming content via voice control and personalize their viewing experiences.
Gemini for TV goes beyond basic commands. Epson Lifestudio projectors will be able to deliver a smarter, more intuitive way to discover, control and enjoy content, all on one screen.
Epson projectors with Gemini incorporate an AI assistant for viewing, to help users find what to watch and to simplify their everyday routines. These Lifestudio projectors will offer access to over 700,000 movies and episodes, live TV and more, all in one place. Lifestudio with Gemini will offer personalized suggestions about what to watch, based on users viewing history, allowing Lifestudio with Gemini owners to build a customized watchlist and update it from multiple devices like a phone or tablet.
The Lifestudio projectors go beyond home entertainment too. They can integrate to a home’s smart ecosystem and control compatible lights, doorbells, thermostats, and more.
The Lifestudio Grand is the flagship model incorporating this technology. With ultra short throw capabilities, the Lifestudio Grand projector can be placed just inches from the wall to produce a theater-like display of up to 120″. The Lifestudio Grand promises exceptional clarity with next-generation 4K PRO-UHD, and advanced HDR10 picture processing for incredible detail, vibrant color and deep contrast.
Powered by advanced 3-chip 3LCD technology, the Lifestudio Grand produces 3,600 lumens of color brightness (IDMS Rated) and 3,600 lumens of white brightness (ISO Rated), for vivid images even with ambient light.
Lifestudio projectors are also the world’s first smart streaming projectors featuring Sound by Bose technology. The custom-designed 2.1 stereo system creates immersive audio with rich, balanced sound.
