PPDS has announced the introduction of the 32:9 Philips Stretch 3150—a display designed to offer advanced creativity, flexibility, and dependable 24/7 performance across a broad spectrum of environments and applications. Developed in response to market feedback and incorporating the latest advancements in screen technology and compact design, the new Philips Stretch 3150 represents a significant step in PPDS’ commitment to delivering best-in-class visual performance combined with enhanced energy efficiency across diverse form factors.
Now available and set for its official debut at ISE 2026 in Barcelona, the Philips Stretch 3150 features a distinct 37-inch, 32:9 display with a resolution of 1920×540. This model succeeds the well-received Philips S-Line, launched in 2022, and is specifically engineered to meet evolving market requirements. Each unit can be customized for various sectors including retail, transportation, food and beverage, hospitality, education, banking, healthcare, public venues, and stadiums.
Designed for versatility and consistent performance, the portrait and landscape-mountable Philips Stretch 3150 supports 24/7 operation and delivers 700 cd/m² brightness for optimal visibility under both natural and artificial lighting. With a weight of just 7.6 kg and ultra-narrow bezels (7.7 mm L/R and 14.0 mm T/B), this display is suitable for spaces that are unsuited to conventional digital signage sizes—such as above shelving or on temporary walls used in kiosks and pop-up installations.
Typical use cases include branding, marketing, live timetables, wayfinding, and menu boards. The Philips Stretch 3150 allows for standalone deployment or multi-unit configurations, with seamless daisy-chaining via HDMI Out and In ports to create larger, more dynamic displays. For tiled setups, multiple units can operate from a single external player, enabling straightforward content management regardless of the number of displays.
The latest model introduces an integrated slot for a CRD32 Wi-Fi module, offering optional wireless network and Bluetooth connectivity. To support various operational needs—including security—AV/IT managers can schedule and manage content via the cloud, local memory, or USB. Powered by Android 13 System on Chip, the Philips Stretch 3150 enhances connectivity and security out of the box, while supporting native Android apps directly, thus removing the need for external media players.
The Philips Stretch 3150 is compatible with Philips Wave, PPDS’ cloud-based management platform, which streamlines installation, monitoring, firmware upgrades, playlist management, and power scheduling. Philips Wave also contributes to PPDS’ sustainability initiatives by reducing the need for on-site management and lowering environmental impact through remote device control. Furthermore, the Stretch 3150 achieves up to 60% lower power consumption compared to its predecessor, typically using just 26W, and holds an F-rated EU Energy Label.
